YOUR MOMENTS STAY YOURS.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026

Kadro is a hands-free camera app for iPhone. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. Kadro is designed around a simple principle: your photos belong to you.

Our approach to privacy

You do not need an account to use Kadro. The app does not sell your personal information, show third-party advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

Camera and photo library

Kadro uses your iPhone camera only after you grant camera permission. Photos captured during a session are stored and processed locally on your device.

Kadro requests access to your Photos library when you choose to save or export images. Saved photos remain in your library until you delete them. Kadro does not upload captured photos, camera sessions, inspiration images, or photo metadata to our servers.

On-device photo analysis

Kadro may analyze session photos on your device to suggest strong images, called Picks. This analysis may consider qualities such as sharpness, exposure, composition, and whether eyes appear open.

This processing is used to rank photos, not identify people. Kadro does not create biometric identity profiles, and photos or face information are not sent to us or our subscription provider.

Inspiration and pose guides

Inspiration images and pose-guide settings are handled locally. A pose guide is only a visual overlay and is not included in the photo you capture. If a future version allows you to add your own inspiration images, those images will remain on your device unless we clearly ask for permission to handle them differently.

Device information and permissions

Kadro may use device motion information to show a camera level guide. Motion data is processed on your device and is not retained by us. You can change Camera, Photos, and Motion permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions and purchases

Optional Kadro Plus subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment details and manages billing. We do not receive your complete payment-card information.

Kadro uses RevenueCat to verify subscription status and unlock paid features. RevenueCat may process purchase history, subscription status, an app-specific identifier, and limited device or app information needed to provide this service. RevenueCat does not receive your photos from Kadro.

Analytics and diagnostics

Kadro may collect limited, non-photo product events and diagnostics to understand app reliability and feature use—for example, whether onboarding was completed or an export succeeded. We do not include captured images or photo metadata in analytics. If analytics are introduced or materially changed, this policy will be updated before those practices apply.

Data retention and deletion

Photos and session data remain under your control on your device. You can delete photos and sessions in Kadro or the Photos app. Removing Kadro deletes its locally stored app data, subject to iOS behavior and any photos you separately saved to your library. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records according to their own legal and operational requirements.

Children

Kadro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Kadro evolves. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or its App Store listing when appropriate.

Contact

Privacy questions can be sent through the developer support contact published on Kadro’s App Store listing. Please do not include private photos or sensitive information in a support request.
